Social Media Integration

Please read the following before we link your library’s social media:

Before we connect your social media accounts to your library’s LibApps departments and queues, please note that this enables ALL USERS with access to those queues to respond to comments and create posts to those social media pages on your library’s behalf. There is no option to exclude users from these permissions if they have email or chat access.

To set up the connection between Springshare’s LibApps and the social media page, one of the system administrators with Ask a Librarian will need to acquire access by becoming an admin for the social media account. Once the connection is made and LibApps confirms the association, admin status can be revoked from the AAL system administrator’s access to ensure your library’s privacy.
