Library Express Delivery (LED) is a service that delivers books owned by UCF or requested from another institution through ILL. You must register for this service. Register for LED: https://ucf.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_abnabb8qLtMXsi2
LED for Faculty and Staff on the main campus is delivered to your designated department office pick up location. Books may be returned to the library circulation desk or the book return receptacles.
LED for Distance Learners: Books owned by UCF or requested through interlibrary loan will be mailed to your LED-registered address, but books from other libraries cannot be shipped to distance learners outside of Florida. See https://library.ucf.edu/special-borrowers/distance-learner-borrowers/#returning for return instructions.

ARC: Items marked as ARC under Item Location in the catalog are located in the Automated Retrieval Center connected to the Main campus library. They will need to be requested online to be pulled for you. The process takes under an hour. You will be emailed when your request is ready for check out at the Circulation desk.

Visitors and Community Members: John C. Hitt library is open to the public. To use UCF public computers please go to the LibTech desk on the ground floor to get a guest password. To use online resources you will need to get a separate guest password at the LibTech desk.
If you want to check out books you will need to purchase a Special borrower’s card at the Circulation desk. $30 for 6 months or $60 for a year.
