Institutions who have their own instance of Springshare’s LibAnswers and connect to the AAL collaborative desks are called Shared Desks. Because chat widgets can be created and linked to collaborative desks from other LibAnswers sites, the IP Address must be banned from the originating widget, which may not be within the AAL dashboard. Please contact the Help Desk if a Ban doesn’t seem to be working OR if you believe the chat started from a shared site’s widget.
