Password Help:Your Username should be your first name, a period (.), followed by your last name. For Example: John Doe would be john.doe. Your Username is also completely lowercase. Make sure you do not have Caps Lock active.

Your Password will be stc, followed by the last four digits of your Student Number. For Example: John Doe’s Student Number is #0000112233, so his Password is stc2233. This is also completely lowercase, as well.

Important Information for Librarians: Southern Technical College specializes in three fields: HVAC training (heating/plumbing/air conditioning, including EPA certification), medical billing and coding, and medical assistant training. Degrees are earned via 9-month or 18-month programs. Students are required to take a few general education 101-level-type courses such as Humanities, Computer Concepts, Professional Development, English, and Psychology. Enrollment is about 200-250 students per campus, 5 campuses in the system total thus far.

Circulation Policy: Students of STC use their student ID badges to check out materials for a 3-week period, usually with the option to renew. Circulation is handled via pen and paper and is not obvious in the online catalog records (the catalog for our purposes serves as primarily a book inventory). Students and faculty are encouraged to use their local public libraries for supplemental material, as well as the Florida Electronic Library and other notable databases.
